Research and Consultancy
For 20 years, SACCS has provided care and support to children who have been severely traumatised through early life experiences. In that time, there has been the opportunity to collate quantitative and qualitative data which has been assessed and influenced practice.
The Mary Walsh Institute will further enhance this assessment by commissioning and developing a research department. In partnership with academia, we will begin to identify and report on projects around holistic and childhood assessment, the value of therapeutic care (a longitudinal study of past, present and future) and social care training.
SACCS has its roots set within consultation, although much of this has been through advice and guidance, centred in the main around training and course delivery.
We have the skills and knowledge to move externally into 'consultancy appropriate service packages' based on the needs of our potential service users.
Please contact the Mary Walsh Institute if you would like to discuss any aspect of our work or wish to commission us to undertake work on your behalf.
