Step 5: The Review

  • A statutory requirement, the Review assesses the child’s progress against the objectives of the Care Plan and the PEP. Additionally, the Review assesses progress against the agreed actions from the previous Review as set out in the Individual Recovery Plan.
  • These are presented as two measures; the objective, tangible changes to behaviour (hard) and a subjective judgement of internalisation (soft) formed from the evidence and the considered opinion of the recovery professionals.
  • From this information, new objectives and aims will be agreed; these will form the basis of the work within the IRP over the next six months.

In addition to the transitional plan; SACCS Care will be providing the placing local authority with a full and comprehensive Child Recovery Report.
