What We Do

SACCS offers an integrated service in providing recovery for severely traumatised children and young people between the ages of 4 and 12 (on admission) who need, but are not yet ready to spend their lives in a family environment.

We offer a comprehensive service with a flexible approach ready to respond to traumatised children nationwide.

SACCS services include a pre-admission recovery assessment and a dedicated recovery team. We provide experienced care therapy and life story staff supported by a Consultant Psychiatrist, Psychologist and Psychotherapist.

Residential care and therapeutic parenting is also provided. Life story work and individual therapy are undertaken with every child, together with continued support in mainstream education.

We employ a high ratio to staff to support the children. SACCS also offers an associated fostering service and actively supports positive contact between young people and families.
