Moving on

When it becomes clear that there is a possibility of the placement ending the matter will be referred to the Director of Find Us Keep Us, who will co-ordinate and chair an Internal Moving On Meeting. The task of this meeting will be to clarify the present situation and the approach that should be taken.

The aim of this process is to ensure that:

The welfare of the child is paramount in all placement plans
The ending of placements with SACCS is planned consistently

The ongoing Recovery Assessment will help to clearly identify the progress the child has made with SACCS, issues outstanding and further work with the child that may be necessary.
